«Blue Lakes». You will take a walk on the ice across the river Katun to its left bank. The lakes are non-freezing and open up в пойме реки only in autumn. The water temperature – 7 degrees above zero.  You can take a swim!

 «Silver Spring». A stroll to the village Askat, that is on the left shore of the river Katun. On the way you will learn the village story, visit the local artists, sculptors, ceramists studios. You can take a healing water from the Silver Spring.

Car-trips

«The legends of Chemal». A visit to the Hydroelectric power station on the river Chemal, the story of its building, a stroll along the “goat” path that is above the Katun river. You will see a panorama of the two rivers (Chemal and Katun) junction (Sartakpay’s Gates), a “Cry-Cliff”. You will also visit an Orthodox Temple on Patmos island.

«Kamishlinsky Waterfall». A car trip to a not great but very impressive cascading waterfall. In winter, it is coated with ice. Sparkling in the sunshine, a frozen water of the river makes an unforgettable impression.

 «Tavdin Caves». Here, according to legend, the retreating White Guards hid their gold. Maybe Luck will be on your side? Whatever the case, you’ll like it! These caves are extremely popular among the tourists. You will visit the “Eagle Grotto”, grotto “Maiden Tears”, an ancient people site, the karst ark of Taldin (It is the monument to Altaian Nature” the “Dragon Nostrils” cave, the “Unfaithful Wives” cliff.

The “Mountain Ghosts” valley

A car trip to the track Che-Chkish – a rocky canyon the valley Katun. On the way you will learn about Altayan shamanism, original traditions of ancient and modern Altaian people. At the end of the excursion we will climb onto the platform, from where we will see a perfect view of the the Katun Valley.
